So I just got this response from ELIC:

Thanks for your message and for updating me. It looks like I might need someone for Tibet in Jan 06. If you’d like to be considered for that, let me know as soon as conveinent. I would probably need a firm decision by early July at the latest, I also need a firm rquest from Lhasa, too.
Claearing up debt is responsible, and I commend you for making that tough decision. I’ve been visiting schools in western China this week and we need good male leaders; we need you on our team, so let’s stay in touch.

Man. I’m 30, you know. This is frustrating - so all you younger people, take a lesson. Make getting out and staying of debt a priority in your early twenties. Trust me, this is not a harvest you want to have to reap when you’re 30. Life is waiting, and the clock is ticking. So go without that big TV, matching sound system, or nicer car. Stay out of debt. “Owe no man anything.” All that other crap is just gonna burn anyway. Why be bound by it?
