God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it. (Acts 2:24, ESV [show] [24]God raised him up, loosing the pangs of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it. (ESV)

Hallelujah! The firstfruits of the New Creation have sprung up! The Kingdom restoration and glorification project, promised in the garden, has begun at long last! No more imagery, no more types and shadows, no more teaching and foreshadowing, no more waiting–Christ, the radiance of the glory of God, the perfect imprint of the image of God, the very meaning of history has come – “the old has gone, the new has come!”
In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light, my strength, my song
This cornerstone, this solid ground
Firm through the fiercest drought and stormWhat heights of love, what depths of peace
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease
My comforter, my all in all
Here in the love of Christ I stand. In Christ alone, who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless Babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorned by the ones He came to save‘Til on the cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For ev’ry sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I liveThere in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then, bursting forth in glorious day
Up from the grave He rose againAnd as He stands in victory
Sin’s curse has lost it’s grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bought with the precious blood of ChristNo guilt in life, no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life’s first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destinyNo pow’r of hell, no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
‘Til He returns or calls me home
Here in the pow’r of Christ I’ll stand
(lyrics by Keith Getty & Stuart Townend)
As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants [our] soul for you, O God.
[Our] soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall [we] come and appear before God? (Psalm 42:1-2, ESV [show] As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants my soul for you, O God.
[2]My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and appear before God?
