One of my all-time favorite authors, Dr. Meredith G. Kline, has just released a new book titled God, Heaven, and Har Magedon: A Covenantal Tale of Cosmos and Telos. I didn’t even know it was coming…! This will have to hold me over until he reprints his amazing and convincing (but unfortunately out-of-print) little book, By Oath Consigned: A Reinterpretation of the Covenant Signs of Circumcision and Baptism. He’s a bit advanced, but without question worth the effort.
If you’re interested in getting your feet [earlobes] wet:
- Two Adams, Two Covenants of Works (Excerpts from M. G. Kline’s Kingdom Prologue, compiled by Lee Irons, 15 pp.)
- Covenant Theology Under Attack (M. G. Kline, 5 pp.)
- Space and Time in the Genesis Cosmogony (Kline, 22 pp.)
- MP3 series on Kline’s Structure of Biblical Authority, taught by Lee Irons, available here (9 messages).
- MP3 series titled “Intro to Kline”, taught by Lee Irons, also available here (12 messages).
- By Oath Consigned, M. G. Kline (try the library of a local seminary, or via ILL).
Enjoy–and drop me a note at [my last name] at gmail if you love or hate what you read or hear.

I’ve got this mental image in my head right now of your house being just one giant library, the shelves are filled to overflowing, and there are stacks of books scattered about everywhere. Sheesh! How am I supposed to keep up with all of your book recommendations?
If Kline is any more “advanced” than your communication of your email address, then it’s too much for me. I know your email address and it still took me two minutes to figure it out.
But, I finally figured out the code. Who is running Treadstone, by the way?
Truth be told, I just had to post something since I’ve had no time for anything lately…sorry for the firehouse approach. Just Lee Irons’s mp3′s on your iPod and you’ll be good. (…at least for starters!)
About the new book by Kline…is it already available? I used the link, but to no avail.

Yes, it is. WTSBooks ran out (probably because they were selling it for ~$14!); other options might be the publisher, Wipf & Stock ($25) or maybe Amazon ($31). We had to know Kline’s next (last?) book would sell like hotcakes…which sell quite well, I’m told.
—oh, and in fairness to LM above, I de-crypted the email address thing. Gmail’s pretty good at catching spam. Let me know if you’d like a gmail address.
