If, as the Iron Lady once put it, “there is no such thing as society,” then perhaps it could be said that there is no such thing as a militia. I pray the SCOTUS rules in favor of liberty. (Washington D.C. v Heller).

What I meant by my statement above, for any who are wondering, is that you cannot have a society (a universal, abstract) that isn’t made up of actual, particular individuals. My point was that there cannot be a militia without arm-bearing individuals, and therefore individuals should own guns (because a ‘militia’ really cannot).
